Greetings from Lieutenant Governor Marketing

Greetings fellow and future Toastmasters! I am truly grateful for the honor and privilege to serve as your 2012-2013 District 55 Lieutenant Governor of Marketing.

Defined, the role of Lieutenant Governor Marketing is to “make the benefits of Toastmasters membership available to greater numbers of people” and it is my pleasure to serve the district in that capacity. Beyond that, I believe we need to work collectively to offer every Toastmaster a dynamic club experience that will lead to the development of more effective communication skills and greater leadership abilities. That goal is best accomplished by understanding and following the Distinguished Club Program since it’s inherent focus is placed upon healthy clubs with active, engaged members.

As your Lieutenant Governor Marketing, I will work tirelessly to insure strong clubs remain strong, challenged clubs are provided with the tools and support they need to thrive, and new clubs are chartered with a complete and dedicated support team that will prepare and train the newest of Toastmasters to reap the maximum benefits from their new journey.

We have a dynamic team to support the district in meeting or exceeding its goals. I encourage you to get involved! If you have a lead or idea for a new club, feel called to mentor a new club, or coach a challenged club to success; I want to hear from you! Please email me at lgm@tmd55.org. You’ll not only be helping others, but you’ll be afforded a new opportunity to exercise your leadership and communication skills while fulfilling a requirement for the Advanced Leader Silver award.
