Toastmasters Contests
Contests are a Toastmasters tradition. Contests allow Toastmasters to use the skills they've learned in their clubs both in communication and leadership. They're also a learning experience themselves. Finally, they're always a lot of FUN! The District 55 2027 Contest Types Are:
​International Speech and Humorous

Deadlines:
​Club Contests must complete by 2 weeks prior to Area Contests.
In 2027 Club Contests have to be complete by 20th of February.
Area Contests complete by 2-4 weeks prior to Division Contests.
In 2027 Area Contests have to be complete by 1st of April.

Division Contests complete by 2-4 weeks before District Contests. In 2027, Division Contests have to be complete by 1st of May.
The District Competitions will take place at the District Conference May 15 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen Convention Center

​​Area, Division, & District Contests will be held IN-PERSON only. Club contest formats are determined by the club (can be virtual, hybrid, or in-person).
