DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH VIA I-35 SOUTH: I-35 South, Loop 410 West proceed to I-10 West, exit Wurzbach Rd. Go straight through intersection on access road. Hotel is two blocks on the right after intersection.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH VIA I-35 NORTH: Take I-35 North, and then take I-10 West toward El Paso, exit Wurzbach Rd. Go straight through intersection on access road. Hotel is two blocks on the right after intersection.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH VIA I-37 NORTH: I-37 North into the city, take I-35 South, I-10 West toward El Paso, exit Wurzbach Rd. Go straight through intersection on access road. Hotel is two blocks on the right after intersection.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE EAST VIA I-10 WEST: Take I-10 West through the city, pass Loop 410 twice, exit Wurzbach Rd. Through light continue on access road two blocks, hotel is on the right.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE WEST VIA I-10 EAST: I-10 East, pass 1604 (Anderson Loop) exit Wurzbach Rd. Stay left, take turn around to access road. Continue on access road. Two blocks to hotel, on the right.

District Council Meeting - May 31
The District Council meeting will take place at 10 a.m. May 31 at the Omni Colonnade in San Antonio. Many items will be voted upon at the meeting including:
The Arthur Storer Award

Since 1998 every year at the Spring District 55 Conference the memory of the late Arthur Storer is honored. A commemorative plaque and $1000 toward attendance at the Toastmasters International Convention in August is awarded to the Toastmaster in District 55 who best exemplifies the qualities and spirit of the late Arthur Storer. Arthur was a selfless man who participated enthusiastically in the Toastmasters program and mentored other members. He attended club, area, division, district, regional and international events. This year the International Convention will be held in Calgary, Canada. Previous winners have been: Mary Jennings, Dan Jackson, Margaret Cathey, Larry Waddy, Jan Waddy, Gypsy Ramsey, Mercedes Balli, Steve Sigrest, Anna Lopez, and Charles Clack. Please submit an e-mail to rstorer@austin.rr.com suggesting the name of a worthy Toastmaster within District 55 and why s/he should receive this award by May 20, 2008.
