Rules and Worksheets - Results as of October 10, 2009

Getting a Jump Start on the 2009-2010 Toastmaster Year

Jack is back! And he’s better than ever!

This is a challenge to encourage members, clubs, areas, and divisions to get a strong start on the 2009-2010 Toastmaster year. The prize will be pins, banner ribbons, gift certificates, and the satisfaction of knowing that you had a personal role in getting this year off to a great start!

The Jack Rabbit Dash encourages your club members to bring in new members who are the lifeblood of all our clubs and to finish up any education or leadership awards that are just almost there.

It also encourages you as club officers to attend training. What better way to ensure that your club has a productive year than to have trained officers eager to fulfill their roles?

On the member level the prizes are Jack Rabbit pins. Your club members can wear these or display them on their hats, purses or briefcases, or on manuals.   In addition, your club can earn a Jack Rabbit ribbon to go on your club banner.

After the Jack Rabbit Dash is complete, your club can have a special ceremony and attach all the Jack Rabbit pins that your members have earned to your Jack Rabbit ribbon on your banner.

Please click on the links below to read the full details for each level of the Dash. Thanks to Cindy Arledge there are also worksheets—one for club officers who can earn up to four Jack Rabbit pins and one for other club members who can earn three. The club officers get an extra pin by attending officer training.

The area and member levels of the Jack Rabbit Dash end on September 30. Keep dashing!
